“The well-being of your children is our top priority”

We are a guardianship agency which looks after your child’s interests and education in the UK.

The safety and happiness of children living or studying away from home, especially in another country, is of the utmost importance for many parents. The UK government authority responsible for student visas, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), wants to ensure that pupils arriving at the UK border are going to be safe and have suitable transport and accommodation arrangements in place. In addition, all good UK schools have a requirement, as part of their entry criteria, for all parents of international students coming to the UK on their own to provide details of a UK-based academic guardian. The schools do so not only  for legal reasons, specifically the UK Immigration Law and Children Acts 1989 and 2004, but also because of the enormous value and benefit the guardians add to the well-being and academic success of the overseas pupils.

In order to meet the visa requirement for a guardian, and to give parents a peace of mind, we offer a high level Guardianship service, supporting families, students and schools. Our aim is to ensure that children and young people in our care achieve the best personal and academic results possible by providing them with a secure and nurturing environment during their stay in the UK.

Our Guardian team will

  • Always be available – any day of the week

  • Act in loco parentis where parents’ direct participation is impossible due to time or distance constraints

  • Look after students’ welfare in the UK during term-time AND when the school is closed for holidays

  • Provide a host family* for students to stay with during half terms and fixed exeat weekends when the school is closed

  • Help students arrange travel both in the UK (by taxi, train or bus) and back home (flight bookings, transfers)

  • Help students if anything goes wrong during their time in the UK, e.g. if they get into trouble at school, if they have problems with immigration, have a lost or stolen passport, if they need to see a doctor or go to hospital

  • Be there for students when they need it most, especially if they feel homesick or worried about work, school, friends, the host family they are staying with and so on

How does it work?

  • You find and agree on a school for your child.

  • As it stands, schools require for your child to have an education guardian situated in the UK.

  • We sign a special education guardianship form, meaning that we take responsibility for your child’s well-being during his/her stay at the chosen school.

  • Furthermore, we can agree upon available optional packages such as finding a host family for the holidays, Curatorship, including additional school visits from our guardian team and a number of other options.
